I commit myself to the practice of love, for God, others, and myself, as more important than anything else.
I recognize that, in the past, I have made other things more important than love. I cancel all my goals in which I have made anything else more important than love and choose to create all my future goals with love as most important.
I am willing to give up my addictions to my sadness, my unhappiness, misery, suffering, fears, doubts, worries, anxieties, irritations, frustrations, grudges, resentments, angers, rages, hatreds, hostilities, my grievances, my stories, my limiting beliefs, my need to have things my way, my need to be right, and anything else that is less than love. I commit to healing anything in me that is less than love.
With every breath, I remind myself to be conscious of living love. With every exhalation, I consciously breathe out anything in me that is less than love. With every inhalation, I consciously breathe love into every pore of my being.
If anything that is less than love should surface in me, I ask my fellow human beings to breathe, hold love conscious in themselves, and remind me that my essence is love. I commit myself, likewise, to practicing such love, if I notice anything less than love surface in another.
I am grateful to be part of a community of Lovers in Training™ who are committed to practicing love, with every breath. I look forward to gathering regularly with my peer Lovers in Training, to remind myself that love is more important than anything else.
Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as you love yourself. Do this and you shall live. —Luke 10:27-28.
